Business is a serious thing but that doesn't mean we have to take it so seriously. Chances are, the more fun you are having in life and business, the more enjoyable the experience is for you. If what you are doing makes you miserable, you might want to rethink why you are doing it.
Seems easy, right? So why aren't we having more fun?
Maybe....life has gotten in the way. I was there myself a few years back.
Living on auto-pilot; doing 'well' with nothing to show for it; no time; no money; debt up to my ears; barren relationships; hustling my way to success... those were a few of the reasons I wasn't having fun in my life or business.
So how did I flip it?
First, I came to the realization that if I desired more, more must be available. This is absolutely true, you just have to choose to believe it. God did not put desires on your heart for no reason. Your desires are meant to be yours. Struggle is not a necessary part of the journey.
If this truth feels far-fetched for you, I encourage you to look to some examples that it is, in fact, possible for you. If my story of leaving my corporate job, building a handmade business from the ground up, adding in a coaching business and replacing my former salary doesn't resonate with you, I encourage you to go find someone you do resonate with, who has what you desire. Once we decide this is true for us, it's time to be intentional about infusing more fun into our lives. You have the time and the time is now!
Fun and pleasure are sure fire ways to tap into the expansiveness of MORE. How can you have more fun in your life and in your business?
Perhaps a mid-day massage? Sounds lovely, right? Give yourself a two minute massage on your lunch break tomorrow. Google about your pressure points or give yourself a foot rub in the shower. You are worth the time and effort.
Love the look of fresh flowers? Go buy yourself a bouquet from the grocery store or admire the roadside flowers and trees along your travels.
What about a dance party to celebrate every sale?
How about a conscious smile with every encounter?
There are endless free and nearly free ways we can bring more fun, more joy and more abundance into our lives. Carving out 5 minutes of your day to fill your own cup, support your human and take care of you and you will be rewarded handsomely. Here's why:
When we feel good we vibrate higher, cultivating higher caliber thoughts and ideas, communicating more effectively and performing better. This means better relationships, perfectly matched opportunities and more money! We show up differently when we are happy people leading fun, passion filled lives. We smile more, give more freely, judge less and have more faith. Hope floats all around us like a glittery bubble!

When we are intentional with our thoughts, emotions, reactions and behaviors, together we can make life more FUN!
We begin to attract all the fun and hope filled things, people, circumstances and situations because that is what we have calibrated our vibration to. Good days become good weeks, which turn into good months and good years. Before long, life is just GOOD! Even great! Whatever we believe becomes true for us so believing in the good brings about more good which creates more FUN.
There is always much benefit to getting out of our head and into our hearts so this week, I challenge you to have more fun! Look for it in unexpected places and create it out of the mundane.
